<li> Peel and devein the tiger prawns and keep aside.</li>
<li> Grind the chillies, cinnamon, cumin, ginger, garlic, sugar, toddy vinegar and salt to a fine paste.</li>
<li> Sauté onions and tomatoes for 15 min, then add the balchao paste. Cook over a slow fire till oil appears on the edges.</li>
<li> Add the prawns and cook till done.</li>
<li> Add prawn powder to enrich the taste and aroma.</li>
