TongueSense (“we”, “our”, “us”) provides AI-powered wellness insights based on tongue images. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard your information when you use the TongueSense mobile application (“App”), website, and related services.

Your use of TongueSense means you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.

We do not collect personally sensitive categories such as government IDs.

1.2 Tongue Images & Scan Data

When you submit a scan, we collect:

- Tongue photographs

- Pixel-level features used for wellness analysis

- Derived metrics (hydration score, stress indicators, coating levels, etc.)

- Organ-zone mapping

- Lumi recommendations

- Tongue fingerprint (non-biometric, non-identity mapping used only for consistency detection)

Important Notes:

- We do NOT collect or process facial recognition data.

- TongueSense does NOT use tongue images as biometric identifiers.

- All tongue images are used solely for wellness evaluation, not identity verification.

1.3 Device Information

We automatically collect:

- Device model

- Operating system

- App version

- IP address

- Time zone

- Error logs and crash analytics

1.4 Usage Data

We may collect:

- Number of scans

- Interaction with Lumi

- Subscription usage

- Trend views

- Time in app

- Delete images upon request

- Individual scans

- Full history

- Your entire account

- Active accounts: retained until user deletion

6. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY (COPPA & Global Compliance)

TongueSense is not intended for independent use by children under 13 years old.

Parents/guardians may use a Family Profile to scan a minor’s tongue.

7. SECURITY

We use encryption, secure storage, access controls, and monitoring to protect data.

8. INTERNATIONAL USERS (GDPR)

EU/EEA users may request:

- Access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or withdrawal of consent.
